The Splash Pad at the CRC Is Open — and It’s Free

Summer came early to Rancho Vista Road.

The brand-new Splash Pad at Ronald J. Parks Community Recreation Center is officially open, and if you haven’t taken the kids yet, this weekend is your excuse. We’re talking spray fixtures, bubbling fountains, waterslides, and the centerpiece of it all — a giant fillable beachball that dumps a cascade of water on anyone bold enough to stand underneath it.

The best part? It’s free — most of the time (more on that below).

Spring Hours (March 23 – June 6, 2026): Monday – Saturday | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:15 – 5:00 PM Closed daily 12:00 – 1:15 PM and closed all day Sundays

Heads up: The splash pad will be reserved for paid Public Swim attendees on May 23 (1:15–5:00 PM) and May 25 (11:00 AM–3:00 PM), so plan accordingly around those dates.

Where: Ronald J. Parks Community Recreation Center 30875 Rancho Vista Road, Temecula (Enter through the front doors of the CRC)

As always, the splash pad may close at the City’s discretion and will be closed during rain, thunder, or lightning — so check conditions before you head out.
