ONE NIGHT. A WHOLE LATIN SOUL.

LEO FROM RIO BRINGS THE HEAT TO TEMECULA’S THE MERC

October 16, 2026 • 7:30 p.m. • One night only

TEMECULA, CA — Some songs ask for your attention. These songs take your heart.

On Friday, October 16, Brazilian-born powerhouse Leopold Nunan makes his Temecula debut with LEO FROM RIO: SONGS OF LATIN ICONS, bringing a glorious collision of Brazilian rhythm, Latin romance, and theatrical electricity to The Merc.

There will be longing. There will be hips. There will be big feelings in a beautifully intimate room.

From the velvet ache of a bolero to the joyful pulse of Brazil, Nunan dives into music made famous by Antônio Carlos Jobim, Sérgio Mendes, Mercedes Sosa, and Luis Miguel. These songs have carried generations through love affairs, broken hearts, and new beginnings—and Leo gives them everything he’s got.

Joining him are Daniel Alexander on piano and musical direction, Angelo Salazar on guitar, and Diana Souto on percussion. Four artists close enough for the audience to feel every breath, every beat, every spark.

Born in Rio and made bolder by Los Angeles, Nunan brings a singer’s soul, a dancer’s instincts, and an actor’s appetite for drama. His performances are passionate, mischievous, and unapologetically alive. For his first Temecula appearance, he invites audiences into the music that shaped him—and a celebration big enough to cross languages and borders.

Bring someone you love. Bring someone you might. This Friday, give yourself something to feel.
