One-Night-Only Event Showcases the Transformative Power of the Arts Through Student and Workforce Development Performances
TEMECULA, CA – JDS Creative Academy (JDSCA), a Temecula-based nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education, workforce development, and opportunities through the visual, performing, and digital arts, will host its inaugural Arts Across the Academy Fundraiser on August 21, 2026, at JDS Studio in Temecula.
The special one-night-only event will showcase the talents, achievements, and creative journeys of participants from JDS Creative Academy’s Title 17 Job Training Program alongside students from its visual, performing, and digital arts programs. Through live performances, creative presentations, and multimedia showcases, guests will experience firsthand how the arts help individuals of all abilities build confidence, develop workforce skills, and create meaningful pathways to future opportunities.
Inspired by the spirit of inclusion and community celebrated through events such as Laughs on the Spectrum, Arts Across the Academy brings together students, families, community leaders, business professionals, and arts supporters for an evening that highlights the life-changing impact of creative education.
“At JDS Creative Academy, we believe the arts are more than creative expression; they are a pathway to confidence, communication, workforce readiness, and success,” said Diane Strand, Co-Founder and Executive Director of JDS Creative Academy. “Through theater, filmmaking, backstage production, and digital media, we help individuals discover their strengths, find their voice, and develop skills that serve them both personally and professionally. This event gives our community the opportunity to celebrate those accomplishments and invest in the next generation of creative leaders.”
Funds raised through the event will support scholarships, arts education programs, workforce development training, production equipment, and career pathway opportunities for youth and adults of all abilities. These programs provide hands-on learning experiences that help participants develop technical skills, leadership abilities, collaboration, communication, and real-world job readiness.
Guests can expect an evening filled with entertainment, inspiration, and community connection while supporting a mission that continues to transform lives through creativity and opportunity.
For those unable to attend, donations may be made online to support JDS Creative Academy’s ongoing programs and initiatives.
“Every day we see the impact the arts have on confidence, communication, and career development,” added Strand. “When you invest in the arts, you invest in people. And when you invest in people, you invest in the future.”
